I love to try all of the new, better for you snacks that I see. I was influenced by the ‘gram to try WildBoard Savory Trail Mix Clusters. Their pitch is “The appetizer board, in a bag. Globally-inspired and made to go wherever you do.” They launched with three flavors that all looked good to me. I was intrigued so I bought a variety box with six bags (two of each flavor). We’re trying one set and giving one set to a lucky reader.
The founders of WildBoard Snacks always have a snack board out in their home. They fell in love with the savory snack combinations they made, but wanted something portable. The snacks are based on the appetizer boards their family loves with layered tastes and globally inspired flavors.
WildBoard Savory Trail Mix Clusters are made with roasted chickpeas, nuts, seeds, real herbs and spices. The globally-inspired bites are vegan and gluten free. The snacks are multilayered and each bite is unique. Each bag is 3 servings and has 15g of protein and 12 grams of fiber per bag.
There are three varieties. They are Tapas – Marcona Almonds & Smoked Paprika, Mezze – Pistachios & Zaatar and Apertivo – Pine Nuts & Rosemary. They come with cheeky descriptions.
- Tapas – “Smoke, salt, and the last train home. The board that keeps the night going.“
- Mezze – “A long lunch by the sea, bright and herbed. The snack that tastes like somewhere warmer.“

I like all three. I started with Mezze and expected that would be my favorite. I was surprised to enjoy Apertivo the most. This will be an awesome hiking or road trip snack when I’m craving savory over sweet. It would also be great snack for your desk or travel bag.
