It’s the first weekend of the month, so I‘m linking up with Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date. February was long (Leap Year) and we had just about every season here in Chicago. I’m excited to start the new month and have some fun things coming up in the next few months. So let’s get to it!
What is the Ultimate Coffee Date? Imagine we are having coffee together… this post is what I would tell you. So grab a cup, “listen” and then tell me what is going on with you in the comments, please!
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I’m super excited that in two weeks time I’ll be In London for the marathon! I’ve been wanting to run this marathon for so many years. It will also be the first time that I’ve done a solo international trip. The nice thing is that I’ll know a bunch of people from Chicago and London who will be in town for the race. Best of both worlds! I’d ask if you’ve traveled internationally on you own.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you about all of the great products I tried at Expo West this year. I’d probably offer you some samples as I have a ton of amazing products on hand. I’d tell you if you missed it to check out my recap (Part 1 and Part 2) and my Instagram post, reel and Instagram story highlights “Expo West ’24.” I’d ask what you’re most excited to try.
If we were having coffee… I’d ask if you were going to check out the eclipse on Monday, April 8. Chicago in the path from 12:51 pm–3:22pm CT reaching maximum coverage (94%) at 2:07 pm CT. I do have some glasses to check it out.
If we were having coffee… I’d ask what you’re reading and watching and what your favorite books, movies and shows were so far this year. We finished the most recent British Bake Off and the final season of Money Heist and are watching the final season of Sex Education. I just finished Tom Lake and loved the Audible version with Meryl Streep reading it.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I’m excited for our Arc’teryx Chicago Southport store launch party tomorrow. I’m a bit obsessed with the photo above of our ambassador team!
