I met the team from SuckerPunch Gourmet at Sweets and Snacks in 2021. Since then, I’ve been a huge fan of their shelf stable pickle packs. This holiday season, I won an Instagram giveaway from them with a load of pickle packs and their new hydration pickle juice shots. I’m going to share some with a lucky reader!
SuckerPunch was founded in 2011 by artist and gallery curator, David van Alphen. Fed up with grocery store pickles, David starting experimenting with what is now their signature 11-spice blend. His friends couldn’t get enough and said that the flavor “hits you like a sucker punch.” They now make 9 varieties of pickles in jars, 4 snack pack varieties, Bloody Mary mixes, Spicy Margarita mix and four pickle juices (great for athletes!)

The 3.4 oz shelf stable, snack packs that come in four great flavors – Kosher Dill, Bread & Butter, Three Pepper and Spicy Dill. They’re great for lunchboxes, BBQs and afternoon snacks. Everyone can pick their own flavor with no worrying about sharing utensils or carrying a heavy jar.
My favorite is the Classic Dill, but I enjoy them all. The newest flavor Spicy Dill is also a winner from me. I love that I can eat whatever flavor I want one serving at a time and that I can take these with me!
The pickle juice shots come in four varieties. They sent me the two electrolyte varieties – Invigorating Dill and Exhilarating Pepper to try. They have calcium, magnesium, and potassium to help you replenish your electrolytes and eliminate cramping! These are great for summer marathon training.
