I found Ivan Bar in a recent Fit Snack Box. I was intrigued by these seed and nut bars, so I ordered some samples to try. They sent me some extras so I’m going to send one of each flavor to a lucky reader.
Like many other “better for you” bars, Ivan Bars came from a desire for a bar with great nutrition and great taste. After being disappointed with what was available, Ivan studied what kind of ingredients made for great nutrition and great taste. After many attempts, he arrived at what what he calls “the best nutrition bar on the planet.” At first, he made them for himself and his family. Once his friends tried them, they were in high demand, so he launched Ivan Bar!
Ivan Bars are vegan and gluten free. They’re made with simple ingredients like almonds, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, hemp, oats and dates. There are no preservatives. Each 2.5 oz bar has 10g of protein and healthy fats to keep you satiated.
Ivan Bars come in four flavors. They are Dark Chocolate Almond, Peanut Butter, Macadamia Nut and Coconut Almond Macadamia. They come in two sizes 2.5 oz and “Mini” 1.4 oz.
My runaway favorite is their new Dark Chocolate Almond followed by Peanut Butter. I like the texture and flavor of these bars and they keep me full for a while. With some fruit, these make a great breakfast on the go. Surprisingly, The Husband is really into these bars, too! He likes all four flavors. I say surprisingly, because he’s not usually a big fan of this type of healthy, whole food bar.
