At Expo West in 2022, I was surprised to see that Dr. Bronner’s started making chocolate bars. Known for their soaps and as leaders in organic and fair trade products, I asked “why do we need chocolate from Dr. Bronner’s?” Then I tasted it. All six original flavors and Cool Peppermint Creme are so delicious. It’s hard to pick a favorite. This year at Expo East, they launched an oat milk line. They recently sent me a care package and I’m going to share some!
Dr. Bronner’s is the top-selling soap in the U.S. natural marketplace. They use only the purest organic and fair trade ingredients with no synthetic preservatives, no detergents or foaming agents. They’re certified to the strictest industry standards. Dr. Bronner’s chocolate “fosters unique connections with diverse producers and farming communities across the globe.”
The Oat Milk Chocolate is made with organic and fair trade ingredients. These include West African cocoa cultivated through regenerative organic farming, renowned Indonesian coconut sugar, Congolese cocoa butter and Madagascan vanilla beans. They’re vegan, certified organic, gluten-free and made with only non-GMO ingredients. This fair trade organic chocolate has a perfect balance of rich, nutty flavors and creamy chocolate.
The Oat Milk Chocolate comes in three varieties. They are Creamy Mocha Latte, Golden Milk Chai and Crunchy Hazelnut Butter. The Crunchy Hazelnut Butter was a Nexty Award finalist at Expo East.
I’ve tried them all and they’re delicious. You may know that milk chocolate is my guilty pleasure. I do try to avoid dairy (makes me itch…) so these just make me super happy! I like all three, but the Golden Milk Chai is delicious and it’s unique. It’s my favorite.
