Tried it Tuesday: EQUII Foods Complete Protein Bread #Giveaway

I met the team from EQUII Foods at Expo East. They were launching their complete protein bread with 10 grams of plant-based protein per slice. EQUII is the product of work between two food scientists and an award winning chef. Marissa and I stopped by to try the new bread and learn about their innovative product that uses fermentation to create complete proteins from plant-based ingredients.

Their protein flour is also used at a gourmet restaurants in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. We tried some of the amazing dinner rolls at Expo West. They sent me both kinds of bread to try and we enjoyed them. You can’t taste anything different about the bread and they keep you full longer!

Recently, EQUII contacted me to see if I wanted to try their new “Added Fiber” varieties. Each slice contains 4 grams of dietary fiber and 8 grams of complete protein. This greatly enhances the nutritional value of the bread. Now, EQUII can boast of the most complete nutritional profile of any bread on the market! A bit over toasted, but still very good!

The new line tastes great. I love the added fiber for the nutritional benefits. It doesn’t impact the taste at all. I prefer the Classic Wheat and I like it toasted but it’s good straight from the bag, as well. Bread is my jam so the added protein and fiber makes EQUII a no-brainer for me.
