I had the opportunity to check out Cleancult cleaning products during Plastic-Free July. Their #PlasticPurge challenge was so successful that they’re pushing the movement to box out single-use plastic for good. The refills come in cartons and they sent me really nice soap dispensers for kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. Recently, they launched a new line of “Eternal Aluminum Bottles.” They sent me some to use and will send some to a lucky reader, too.
Cleancult believes that “clean should mean clean in every single way.” They believe that we should “refill not landfill, that paper is mightier than plastic, and that lots of small actions add up to great change.” They’re on a mission to help more people switch from “a bad plastic habit to a cleaner refill ritual.” They say, “some cults are toxic, but not us!”
Cleancult’s products are made from natural ingredients, like aloe and essential oils. Their clear liquid formulas are free from harsh chemicals while being gentle on your skin and the planet. only use the good stuff to keep your dishes clean and your skin healthy. They’re always made without phthalates, phosphates, petroleum based ingredients, dyes, SLS or SLES.
The new “eternal aluminum bottles” are for hand soap, all purpose cleaner and dish soap. They’re currently available with Wild Lavender or Lemon Verbena scented products in them. You can refill them with other scents if you prefer. They offer refills in these scents and a few products in Sea Minerals and Juniper Sandlewood. They also sell glass refillable dispensers.
We love the Lemon Verbena products. This is my favorite cleaning product scent. They hand soap and dish soap work great. The products are easy to refill and the new aluminum bottles are really functional (and I love the new look!).
