2022 Gift Guide for Runners + Fit Folks #Giveaway

Welcome to my first holiday gift guide of 2022! I’m sorry for the delay. Many brands have extended Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. I’m highly qualified to offer some great suggestions for all of the runners and fit folks on your list this year. I am also planning a “gifts for everyone else” post and a stocking stuffers post, so stay tuned. I’ve tested out and used SO many awesome products this year and in the last few years. Here are some ideas for the fit folks on your list.

So without further ado – awesome gifts for the runners and fit folks in your life!

Fitbit – I still love my Fitbit. I switched to a Fitbit Versa 3. I’ve found that tracking steps with my FitBit keeps me moving not only when I’m running, but throughout the day. The Versa reminds me to get up and move throughout the work day. They’ve updated the smart watches to the new Fitbit Versa 4. You can get it on Amazon (Affiliate Link) or get Versa 2 or Versa 4 at Fitbit online.

Gear from JanjiJanji is an awesome running apparel company that enables runners to give back by purchasing running gear. Janji, which means “promise” in Malay, donates a percentage of each sale to help fund clean water projects all over the world. They have everything from hats and accessories to tech T’s, shorts, jackets and tights. There are pieces for men and women. This is such a cool company and the clothes are stylish and durable. A win-win gift for the runner on your list! Join the Janji Collective for 15% off on all products for life and more!

Flipbelt and Flipbelt Capris I love pockets but when I don’t have them, I like a Flipbelt. These belts have a ton of pockets and fit nicely around the waist with no bounce. They also have shorts, capris and tights now, too. I love my capris. They have tons of pockets and come with a zip pocket option, too. Get 20% off with code ERICAAGRAN20. You can find Flipbelt on Amazon.

Revitalign Slippers or Flip Flops – Since I’ve had plantar fasciitis, I always wear slippers or shoes in the house. I recently tried out some cozy slippers with arch support (and slip free bottoms) from Revitalign. I also love their flip flops for post race/summer walks and their slip on shoes for walking everywhere. Get 10% off online with code Erica10.

SoleHealers – SoleHealers is an innovative foot stretching and massaging product that’s good for runners, yogis and anyone who works out. SoleHealers strengthen feet to prevent painful foot injuries. The innovative design provides myofascial release of the trigger points of the feet while also alleviating foot pain. Get SoleHealers on Amazon.  They come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, too!

Running and Fitness Gear from Athleta– I’m missing my friends from my Athleta run club. I’m still loving my new SuperSonic Lightning 7/8 Tights. Supersonic is a new performance fabric made from recycled materials. They have a high waist, 2 side pockets, a back zip pocket and mesh on the bottom to let in some air. The material is sustainable, wicking, quick dry and fair trade. I love their athleisure wear for travel and everything else! Best bet – get a gift card so your runner can pick out her faves. [Get cash back with Rakuten formerly ebates, too!]

Running and Fitness Gear from Arc’teryx – I started partnering with Arc’Teryx last year as one of their Chicago running ambassadors. I love the Oriel and Essent shorts for all of my races. They are so comfortable, have deep pockets and look great. I like them so much that I got the full tights and capris, too! They have awesome products for skiing and other outdoor activities for men and women, too. I’m also obsessed with this Squamish Hoody windbreaker and my Mantis waist pack (which I wear cross body).

Home Fitness Finds like the AeroTrainer. I love the AeroTrainer. It inflates and deflates in 30 seconds and is great for stretching and doing workout moves in an ergonomic way. It folds and is easy to store. The AeroTrainer comes with a pump, handles and a workout guide for only $69.80. Buy it here.

GoodFOR Pain Relief Cream – GoodFOR Relief Level 10 is a topical pain relief cream made with hemp, menthol, arnica and camphor. It also contains a variety of all natural essential oils. A small dab goes a long way. It’s great for pain relief on sore muscles and has a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. Great for runners and fit folks. Get 15% off with code ERICAFINDS15.

KT Recovery+ Wave-a clinically proven and FDA cleared device for relief of chronic musculoskeletal pain. It’s designed to reduce pain to improve sleep, fitness, and quality of life. It’s water resistant and flexible for comfortable use during activity. Find it on Amazon.

SHOKZ OpenRun Open-Ear Headphones – These open ear, bluetooth headphones are great for running on streets or trails. You can hear what you’re listening to and what’s going on around you. They’re sweat resistant and work in the rain! They last 8 hours per charge, too. Get them online or on Amazon.

Nomader Collapsible Water Bottle – Now that travel’s back, this Nomader Collapsible Water Bottle is perfect for your athlete. It’s great for gym and school bags, too. It’s easy to pack, leak-proof, dishwasher safe and has a convenient carry loop. It comes in a variety of fun colors. Get in on Amazon.

Hydration Vest – Water stops and water fountains are harder to find this year. Even though I wasn’t running as far, I loved my Nathan Hydration vest. It has a bladder and pockets for smaller bottles and your phone, fuel and keys. There are a variety of sizes, price points and brands. Check out the Nathan options on Amazon.

Oakley (top) and Goodr (bottom)

New Shades – If you’ve been around here, you know I love my Oakley Moonlighters. They’re super light and are great for running. I barely notice them and they feel/work great. [There’s a men’s version, too!] If your giftee likes to change glasses for every mood or outfit, try Goodr. You can get awesome shades in fun color combos for $25 – $35! They have some for running, biking and just wearing all around.

Light! If your runner is into running outside after dark or before dawn or runs relay races, get him/her a lighted vest. I recently had the opportunity to check out the Tracer 360 from Noxgear. It has over 1,200 five star reviews on Amazon!

Hurdle Socks – These recently launched socks have great cushioning, shock absorption, blister protection and anti-microbial coating. They’re great for running, walking and any activities. They come in ankle, quarter length and crew socks for men and women. Buy 2 or more pairs online and get 25% off your first order with code COMFORT25.

Heatholders Socks – If you live in a cold place like I do and you may be doing more outside activities than previous winters, check out Heatholders ankle socks. I wore the crew socks in the F3 Half Marathon a few years ago in single digits and they kept my feet nice and toasty. Get them online or on Amazon.

Warm Running Gloves – A lot of people have asked me for recommendations for gloves as they get into cold weather running. My faves are the Craft 2-in-1 gloves with windproof mitten tops. The mitten tops fold in on warmer days. You can get them on Amazon.

Inside Tracker – I got an Ultimate Blood Test from Inside Tracker earlier this year and it helped me to target some deficiencies (and see some improvement from last time I did it.) This is a great gift for fit folks who want to learn more about their health. They’ve extended Cyber Monday deals. Click here and use code AMANDABF (thanks Amanda!) for $200 off the Ultimate package or 34% off sitewide.

Coffee – Get some great coffee! If you have a coffee lover on your list, check out the coffee, coffee subscriptions or fun merch from my friends at Humblemaker. Get 35% off of your first order with this link. Active folks may enjoy great instant coffees and lattes from Alpine Start or make anywhere single serve coffees from Steeped.

Healthy Eats – Your fit friend can always have healthy food on hand with Daily Harvest (Gift Card) – Daily Harvest sends delicious single portion frozen smoothies, soups, harvest bowls, flatbreads and Scoops (dairy free desserts) and a few other goodies. You just open, blend or heat and eat. I love the soups and harvest bowls for a delicious, healthy lunch. These are a bit of an extravagance, so getting a gift card would be a great treat. [Treat yourself! You can also get $25 off your first order with this link.]

Subscription Boxes – There are some great subscription boxes for runners including Stride Box and Runner Box. There are others for Crossfit and other sports, too. These offer great opportunities for your runners to try new products. You can also gift a few months’ subscription so that the gift can keep on giving! You can also gift healthy snacks for fit folks from Fit Snack. I love mine! Check for holiday gift sales!

Gift Cards – You can give gift cards to your giftee’s local running store of choice – in these times, they can all use the support. I’d love a gift card to The Feed. It’s my fave place for “finding” new fuel, recovery and hydration products and energy bars. Plus, they have great sales and introductory offers on new products! Or consider a gift card for a massage, Pilates or yoga.
