I’ve been a PROBAR fan for ages. When Lauren and I were in the Grand Canyon in 2016, she shared some yummy PROBAR products with me. I’d met them at Expo West and tried some products from Carlee, too. I connected with them again at Sweets & Snacks this year. They sent me an awesome care package for my A Sweat Life run tour. I have extra so I’m going to send a care package to a lucky reader.

PROBAR’s newest bar is the Peak Chewy Snack Bar. These plant based, gluten free snack bars are small enough to take on the go and “nutritionally balanced to keep you going until your next meal.” Each bar has 160 calories, 4 grams of plant based protein and 5 grams of sugar or less. They come in three yummy flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate, Chocolate Coconut and Frosted Caramel Sea Salt. My favorite is the Chocolate Coconut. These are great for lunch boxes for kids and adults.
They also sent two flavors from the PROBAR Meal line. These vegan, gluten free, real food bars are packed with 8 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber. I have Wholeberry Blast and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip to share. The Husband loves these large bars for when he’s working on his car projects at the garage. I like them for hiking or travel and tend to eat them with fruit as an on-the-go breakfast or lunch.
For summer training, they sent Bolt Fruit Chews. These organic energy chews have electrolytes, B vitamins and carbohydrates for quick energy on the run or bike. Some flavors are caffeinated for an “extra bolt of energy.” They sent Cran-Pomegranate, Strawberry and Raspberry (with caffeine). I like all of these flavors (and the Pink Lemonade). Each pouch contains two servings and they have an easy open top. They’re easy to chew and taste good!
