I found Mighty Sesame Co. Tahini Bars in the New Hope Blogger Box and then in several Love with Food Boxes. These 100 calorie sesame seed bars are delicious and all natural. They recently reached out to see if I wanted to check out all three flavors of bars and their tahini. Of course, I said “yes!” They’re going to send a care package to a lucky reader, too.
The Mighty Sesame Company is fairly new, but they have more than 30 years of sesame expertise. Their team has spent their careers grading, tasting, buying and creating with sesame. They’re “more than a little passionate” about all things sesame. They source sesame from Ethiopia and trade sustainably with producers to ensure fair wages for farmers producing the world’s mighty finest sesame.
Mighty Sesame Co. Tahini comes in Classic, Organic and Whole Seed. Classic tahini is pure, stone-ground sesame. It’s single ingredient, minimally processed, vegan and rich in protein, calcium, vitamins and minerals.
Tahini is super versatile. It can be used as a dip for vegetables, in salad dressings, as a spread, in hummus, in desserts, as a sauce, as an alternative to mayonnaise or even with a spoon, straight from the jar! Lauren made this awesome veggie bowl with a tahini dressing and topped it with sesame seeds. We made an awesome sweet potato hash with tahini, too. They have tons of great recipes on their website, too.
The Tahini Bars come in three flavors. They are Vanilla, Pistachio and Cocoa Nibs. The bars are gluten free, dairy free and vegan. They come in three flavors – Pistachio, Cacao and Vanilla. The Pistachio is my favorite! They’re the perfect size for a decadent treat. The 100 calorie portion is surprisingly satisfying.
