Healthy Snacking with Splitz Split Pea Crisp #Giveaway

I found Splitz Split Pea Snacks in a few subscription boxes this year. These crispy, plant based snacks have the texture of crackers and the crunch of pretzels. They’re made from split pea flour so they have high fiber and protein. What makes them really special is the flavor infusions like turmeric, cumin and onion and garlic.

Splitz’s founder Michael Sukhram wanted a healthier crunchy snack. He made split pea snacks with a blend of spices from his mother’s recipe that he loved growing up. It’s a great contemporary twist on a traditional Indian snack.

Splitz are a delicious snacking choice for a variety of diets. Splitz Split Pea Snacks are gluten free, vegan, high in fiber and protein. They contain no artificial ingredients or fillers. There are just a few ingredients in each recipe.

Splitz come in three flavors – Original, Himalayan Salt and Barbecue. You can snack on them right from the bag or use them to top your favorite soup or salad.

Splitz Original are my favorite but I like all three flavors. I like them straight out of the bag. I’ve been adding them to my salad and I’m excited to add them to soups this fall. I like that the serving size is pretty big and low in calories – 1.5 oz serving is 100 calories. Also, the protein and fiber make these more filling than pretzels or other crackers.

Want to try Splitz? I’ll send one lucky reader a trial pack – one of each 1.5 oz bag. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The giveaway is open to US residents, 18 and over and is void where prohibited. The contest runs through October 20. Winners will be selected and notified on October 21.
