Tried it Tuesday: Sambucol Black Elderberry #Giveaway

Winter can be pretty rough here in Chicago. I load up on zinc and Vitamin C to ward off illness. Through my relationship with the New Hope Network Blogger Coop, I had the opportunity to check out Sambucol Black Elderberry gummies and syrup.

Sambucol is “the Original Black Elderberry supplement.” It was developed in 1991 with “a proprietary extraction process to preserve and maximize the immunity benefits” of black elderberries. It’s been tested in many scientific studies and is now the best selling black elderberry in the US according to IRI in 2019.

Why elderberries? Black elderberries contain twice the natural antioxidant capacity of blueberries. Sambucol black elderberry syrup and gummies taste great and are free from gluten, artificial colors and sweeteners. Everyone in your family can take it daily for immune boosting health benefits. They have adult, children and baby formulations.

Sambucol makes a variety of black elderberry products including syrup, gummies and lozenges. Some include zinc and additional Vitamin C. They sent me gummies and the Black Elderberry Syrup to try.

Both the gummies and the syrup taste great. When I came back from Chile, I felt a cold coming on so I had the syrup each night in hot water like a tea. I’m a big fan and it’s a nice bedtime ritual. The gummies are super convenient and I love that they had added Vitamin C and Zinc.
