Friday Five: 5 Healthy Finds from the Fancy Food Show!

It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Fairytales and Fitness for the Friday Five. You may have seen that I worked for my friends from Laiki at The Fancy Food Show. This was my first time at Fancy Food. There were a ton of delicious international and specialty foods. Lots of my faves were there, too, and I even had a little time for new finds!

5 Healthy Finds from the Fancy Food Show

Freshe Small MealsThese 4 oz tins contain “small meals with big protein.” They mix sustainably caught tuna and vibrant superfoods infused with savory herbs & spices to create small meals. This high-protein tuna is gluten-free and is a great source of vitamins and omega-3s. It comes in four globally inspired flavors: Provence Nicoise, Thai Sriracha, Aztec Ensalada and Sicilian Caponata. Stay tuned for a full review and giveaway. You can get them on Amazon.

The Good Chocolate – This premium dark chocolate is 100% organic and made with no sugar. It’s made for people who want great taste and to keep a healthy lifestyle. The bars are sugar free, keto and Paleo friendly, low carb and vegan (except milk dark chocolate). They’re sweetened with organic sweeteners found in fruits and plants. They’re made with a proprietary recipe in San Francisco. They’re super tasty! Stay tuned for more info and a giveaway. You can get The Good Chocolate on Amazon.

Munki Superfood Granola (and Trail Mix) – Munki makes “globally inspired all day snacks.” They started with trail mixes and just launched a line of Superfood Granola. Münki’s Superfood Granolas are vegan, gluten free, non GMO and have about 30g of plant protein per bag and 16g of whole grains per serving. They’re launching with four unique flavors – Italian Espresso, Tropical Kale, Sweet Beets & 24 Carrot Cake. Stay tuned for a full review. You can get Munki Superfood Granola online.

Split Nutrition Packs – I found Split Nutrition Packs last summer through Postworthy and shared some that I bought at The Feed (post). These “fast packs” have nut butter on one side and jelly/fruit spread on the other side. They’re the perfect natural snack or fuel. They provide a healthy fat and a simple carb to power your day. Splits are all natural, non-GMO, gluten free and contain no added fillers or artificial flavors. They gave me two new flavors to try. They are Almond Butter + Blueberry Spread and Cashew Butter + Sour Cherry Spread. These will be available exclusively at Whole Foods. Stay tuned for a full review and giveaway of all six flavors. You can get the other flavors at The Feed (get $12 off your first $30 purchase with this link) and Amazon.

Wild Joy Goods Banana Jerky – This “better for you” plant based jerky contains no added sugar. It’s banana based and it’s organic, vegan, Paleo, non-GMO, gluten and soy free. It comes in three flavors – Original, Ginger Teriyaki and Chipotle Lime. This sustainably sourced product offers a better way to snack and it tastes amazing! You can get it on Amazon.
