Jonesing for a Great Energy Bar? jonesbar #Giveaway

I met the guys from jonesbar at the NJ Marathon Expo in April. They make a “simple” organic energy bar with 4 – 5 ingredients simply spelled out on the label. They’re from the NJ shore and I love to support great companies from my home state.

The guys from jonesbar believe “simple is better.” They use 100% organic ingredients and “let them be.” There are no added sugars, fillers or anything artificial. They make them in small batches using a proprietary process that creates a great flavor and texture. They have a great mission that I can get behind. It is “Enjoy the now. Be good to others. Handcraft simplicity.” Yes!

Jonesbars come in four flavors. They are PB & J, Mango, Coconut and Peanut Butter. All of the bars have dates and chia seeds. Then they add nuts and fruit and voila! The ingredients are simple and organic and are all listed right on the front of each bar.

I tried the PB & J bar at the expo and then bought a variety box. The PB & J has peanuts, dried strawberries and sea salt in addition to the dates and chia seeds. The taste is like an all natural peanut butter and jelly. You can see and identify all of the ingredients. It tastes great and is the perfect pre-run bar or afternoon snack. I love the texture. It doesn’t stick in your teeth (but you have to watch out for those extra chia seeds!)

I shared my box with Sue and her family after the NJ Half. Sue and the kids were big fans of the Coconut Bar. That was Marie’s favorite, too, when we did some tasting before I wrote this post.

Want to try jonesbar? The guys sent me a variety box to share. I’ll send two lucky winners one of each flavor. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The giveaway runs through July 2.  Winners will be selected and notified on July 3. Winners must be a US residents, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited.
