I found Truth Bars at Expo West in 2016 and reconnected with them there this year. These bars are filled with “ingredients with purpose.” They contain probiotics and pre-biotics and offer all natural versions of some of your favorite sweets – peppermint brownie, dark chocolate coconut and chocolate almond crunch. Truth Bars are delicious. It’s like eating healthy candy bars – a win-win!
The founder of Truth Bar was a french chef and chocolate maker who was plagued with autoimmune problems. After trying conventional treatment and not finding any that worked, she focused on nutrition. She mixed her love of cooking with a solid understanding of nutrition. She went on to create a product that’s good for you and tastes great.
Truth Bars are made with high quality, whole food ingredients. The prebiotics and probiotics in the bars provide targeted nutritional benefits for digestive health. Truth Bars provide a healthy balance of fiber, fats and protein. Truth Bars are gluten free, soy free, non-GMO and are high in fiber and low in sugar. All of the bars clock in at 200 calories or less.
Truth Bars now come in five flavors. They started with Dark Chocolate Coconut, Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Almond Crunch. They’ve added Chocolate Raspberry Coconut and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch. The Coconut flavors are vegan. The other three are high in protein.
We decided to do a taste test of all five flavors when I visited my brother and Dan. We went in this order (top to bottom). My fave is and has always been Dark Chocolate Coconut. It’s like a healthy Mounds Bar. I’ve added the new Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch as my runner up. Larry and Dan picked Chocolate Raspberry Coconut as their fave hands down. They like my faves next best.
