RightRice – Rice Made Right-er! #Giveaway

RightRice found me on Amazon – sort of. I saw a banner ad when I was doing another review and I clicked on it. I bought a variety pack to try it. What’s RightRice? It’s a rice “made right-er with the power of vegetables.” RightRice is made with more than 90% veggies – lentils, chickpeas, pea flour- and some white rice.

RightRice was developed by the founder of popchips. His passion for healthy snacking inspired snack chips. He then wondered if he could make a more nutritious version of another favorite – rice! He put together a team of rice lovers and challenged them to come up with a shelf-stable rice grain “packed with the power of vegetables.”

RightRice is a complete protein. It has more than 2 times more protein, 5 times more fiber and almost 40% fewer net carbs than white rice. It’s also gluten free, non-GMO, vegan and has a low glycemic index. It cooks faster than regular rice, too. It’s ready in 10-12 minutes.

RightRice comes in four flavors. They are Original, Spanish, Lemon Pepper and Garlic Herb. The seasoned versions are perfect quick side dishes or you can create your own flavors with original.

RightRice cooks up easily and quickly. I love the taste and texture. My favorite is Lemon Pepper. I’m excited to try the original and make a fried rice with it.

I cooked up some Spanish RightRice after my weekend 5K race. It was quick, filling and very tasty. The Husband tried some and he couldn’t tell any difference from regular rice. That’s a healthy win in our house!

Want to try RightRice? They’ll send one lucky reader a 6 pack variety box (2 Original, 2 Lemon Pepper, Spanish and Garlic Herb) like I purchased on Amazon. I’ll also have a giveaway on Instagram – so keep an eye out! The contest runs through April 17. Winners will be selected and notified on April 18. Winner must be 18 years of age or older, have a US postal address and the contest is void where prohibited.
