Tried it Tuesday: Wild Zora Real Soup, Real Quick #Giveaway

I met the folks from Wild Zora a few years ago. I reviewed their addictive meat and veggie bars. Recently, I saw that they expanded their product line to include healthy instant soups and Paleo meals to go. I’m all about a quick cup of soup to stave off the hungries in the afternoon, so I ordered some from Amazon.

Wild Zora launched in 2013. In 2011, Zora and her family started learning about the Paleo diet and eating gluten free. They started making their own healthy meat and veggie snacks as an alternative to too salty jerky and sugary snacks. They started sharing the snacks with friends and then launched their business. Recently, they began making soups and merged with the company Paleo to Go to offer freeze dried meals on the go.

The folks at Wild Zora sent me a sampler of the new products to try. They sent two Paleo Meals to Go, all three soups and two meat and veggie bars.

The Paleo Meals to go come in 8 varieties. Five are savory and three are breakfasts. All of the meals are gluten, grain and dairy free and have no added sugar. The two they sent me are also AIP diet compliant and contain no nightshades. I asked for these to try for a few friends who follow this diet for health reasons.

I tried the Summit Savory Chicken. These shelf stable meals can be made anywhere you can get hot water. This means on a trail or in your office when other healthy options are not available. The meal is packed with veggies and tastes great. I was surprised by how filling it was.

The soups come in three varieties. They are Tuscan Chicken, Lemon Chicken and Beef Picante. The soups are also gluten, grain and dairy free and have no added sugar. The Lemon Chicken is AIP compliant. Each packet has only 50 – 60 calories. There’s some ghee in them so they are filling. I tried all three and it’s hard to pick a favorite. If you make me pick, I’d go with the Lemon Chicken. These are perfect for the winter afternoon pick me up.

You don’t have to take my word for it. I’m going to send 2 lucky readers one of each variety of soup to try. The giveaway is open to US residents (or folks with a US Postal intermediary), 18 and over and is void where prohibited. The contest runs through February 13. Winners will be selected and notified on February 14.
