Snack On with Biena Chickpea Snacks! #Giveaway

I “found” Biena Snacks in 2013 and have been enjoying them since. I’ve kept up with them ever since. At Sweets and Snacks, I tried their new chocolate covered line. At Expo East, I stopped by to say “hi” and they sent me a variety pack of the Classic Roasted Chickpeas.

Biena Snacks’ founder looked for “healthy” snacks a few years ago and was alarmed by the fat and artificial ingredients. She set out to make the perfect snack based on a childhood favorite. Their roasted chickpeas are high in protein and fiber, are naturally gluten free and all natural. Biena was a pioneer in the plant based snack space and they’re focused on the best tasting flavors and varieties.

Biena Snacks now makes roasted chickpeas in eight flavors. The original four were Sea Salt, Honey Roasted, Cinnamon Maple and BBQ. They’ve added Habanero, Sour Cream and Onion, Rockin’ Ranch and Organic Sea Salt. They’ve added four chocolate covered varieties, too. My fave is Thin Mint. They’re a great healthy treat.

Still my fave!

My faves are still Sea Salt and Honey Roasted. I love the Sea Salt on salads in place of croutons. The Honey Roasted make a delicious, healthy snack when I need something a little sweet. I shared the remaining flavors with friends. I’ve gotten rave reviews on all of them.
