I can’t hide it, I’m a sweaty lady. When the folks from Actizio asked me if I wanted to “find” their fun, sweat activated Ts, I said “Sure!” What’s a “sweat activated t-shirt?” It’s one that’s plain or has a design that changes when you sweat. After your workout, you get to see the new design.
The Actizio team challenges you to “show off” your hard work. They say, “you’re not allowed to quit until everything is visible.” That’s a good challenge and a fun motivational tool to power your workout.
Actizio makes a variety of tanks and t-shirts for men and women. They also make fun, colorful leggings for women, hats and string bags.
They sent me two sweat activated Ts to try out. I picked “Run Now – Wine Later” and “No More – Excuses.” The shirts are soft and are made of 90% cotton and 10% polyester. They’re a slim fit, so they recommend sizing up if you like a looser fit. All of the Ts and tanks are gray with a variety of colored and black and white designs.
I tried out my Actizio t-shirt on a 7 mile treadmill run. The message was pretty clear. These tops are fun and motivating. I’ll definitely wear the t-shirt in cooler weather. I’d pick a tank for my summer workouts.
