Friday Five: 5 Run/Recovery Tools To Try This Summer #Giveaway

It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Running on Happy and Fairytales and Fitness for Friday Five 2.0. This summer, I’ve had the opportunity to check out some great products for run and recovery. I’m going to share five run and recovery tools I’m using this summer.

1. Caliloko Recovery Sleeves – On Monday, I reviewed a sports bra and recovery sleeves from Caliloko (post). They incorporate compression technology into luxurious fabrics and style. The recovery sleeves are intended for post workout and can be worn every day to improve circulation and prevent swelling. They’re good for flying, too, as they’re not too tight at the top and bottom. Today (July 20) is the last day to enter to win a pair on my Instagram grid.  You can check out Caliloko online.

2. SpiBelt Glide – I’ve been a SpiBelt fan for years! Recently, they launched the Glide. It has two large pockets to fit everything you need for a long run, race or day out and about. There is no buckle on this version. It’s “bounce free” and there is soft elastic to prevent chafing.  I’m excited to try this out for long runs (to store fuel and phone) and maybe for my next marathon. Stay tuned for a full review and giveaway. Get the SpiBelt Glide online or on Amazon.

3. SoleHealers – I’ve been testing out SoleHealers for my lingering plantar fasciitis. SoleHealers is an innovative foot stretching and massaging product that’s good for runners, yogis and anyone who works out. SoleHealers exercises are designed to develop strong and well-aligned toes, feet, ankles, knees, and legs. Stay tuned for a full review. Get SoleHealers online (get 15% off with code ERICA) and on Amazon.

4. Fitletic FullyLoaded Hydration Belt – Last week, I highlighted ways I beat the heat in summer (post). I included a review of this awesome hydration belt that also carries a large phone and energy gels. It has silicone grippers so the belt doesn’t bounce or chafe – even when you’re really sweaty. The bottle has a wide mouth (so you can load it with ice) and an easy flow spout. The pocket is a quick draw (angled) style. Get the Fitletic Fully Loaded online and on Amazon.

5. Buff UV Half Buff – In my “beat the heat” post, I also mentioned that I like to freeze a Buff and wear as a headband, around my neck or wrist. You can always soak in cool water on the run and wear under a hat, too. These Buffs can be worn 9 ways, wick sweat and protect you from the sun and wind. Get Buffs online and on Amazon (among many other retailers.)

I’m going to send one lucky reader the Buff pictured above. The winner is #3 Lauren S! It’s a gray pattern that’s pretty unisex. Want to win it? Leave a comment on this post. Tell me what you’re trying this summer or where you’d take your Buff if you win. I will select one winner using random.org based on comment number. A winner will be selected and notified on July 27. Winner must be a US resident, 18 years or older and the offer is void where prohibited.

What is the best running/recovery product you’ve tried this summer?

Have a great weekend!
