I met Chef Shauna when she was running The Fit Foodie Kitchen. It was a healthy food delivery service that started with good taste and flavor in mind. Rejuven8 bites have 8 whole food ingredients. Each ingredient is functional. They have high quality protein from collagen, hemp and chia. The bites are Paleo, gluten free, dairy free, soy free and contain no eggs. Each bag contains 5 bites with 250 calories and 13g of protein.
Each package lists the ingredients with their functional benefits. Rejuven8 Bites come in three flavors: Almond Butter Cherry, Mmmmocha and Island Raspberry. All flavors have almonds, collagen, hemp, chia seeds, dates and coconut. Almond Butter Cherry has cherries and hazelnuts. Mmmmocha has cacao and espresso. Island Raspberry has raspberries and cardamom.
My fave is Almond Butter Cherry. I love the size and resealable bags. These are great for a mid-morning snack, with coffee or before a workout. I shared the Island Raspberry with my fave nutritionist, Lauren. She said, “They seem to have gotten squished in all the travel, but they still taste great. I love the raspberry flavor and the texture is soft and smooth. They’re not overly chewy as many other bars and bites. I would definitely buy and eat these again.”
