Friday Five: BOLO for These Great Snacks!

It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Running on Happy and Fairytales and Fitness for Friday Five 2.0. I have a surplus of AMAZING, healthy/healthier snacks to tell you about.

Since Expo West and Sweets & Snacks, I have a TON of new food finds (and faves) to review and share. Be on the look out for these great snacks in your local stores, on Amazon and here for great giveaways!

BOLO for These Great Snacks!

1. Wicked Crisps –Wicked Crisps are “a surprisingly healthful snack” that are made with veggies, herbs and spices. These snacks are “a guilt-free treat.” Wicked Crisps come in seven delicious flavors like Cheesy Cheese Pizza, Spinach Parmesan, Spring Vegetable Medley, Sweet Potato Soufflé and Red Curry Hummus. They’re non-GMO, gluten free, farm to table and are made by a Veteran Owned Company. Wicked Crisps are “deliciously deceptive nutrition!” I liked all four flavors that they sent me! Stay tuned for a giveaway. You can get them on Amazon Prime.

2. Perky Jerky – I first found Perky Jerky in 2013 (review). Recently, they sent me their updated formulations and new meat sticks. They have a new look with the same great taste. I did learn at Sweets & Snacks that they no longer have guarana or caffeine. So the jerky may be a bit less perky, but it still tastes great. Stay tuned for a giveaway! You can get Perky Jerky online or on Amazon.

3. Nature’s Crush – Nature’s Crush Microwave Popcorn is a new, all-natural microwave popcorn. They use real herbs and spices and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Nature’s Crush is whole grain, gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO. It’s great for movie nights, snacks, lunchboxes and parties. Nature’s Crush is “making microwave popcorn a pantry must-have once again.” The Original Blend is my fave! You can get Nature’s Crush on Amazon Prime and it’s coming to these stores.

4. Growing Roots – I met the folks from Growing Roots Foods at Expo West. They make yummy organic snacks that do good. The snacks are made with organic corn and seeds and organic coconut and seeds. The snacks taste great and they donate 50% of the profits to support urban farming initiatives. It’s a total win-win! These snacks are coming soon! Stay tuned for more info.

5. Undercover Quinoa – I found Undercover Quinoa in NJ at Whole Foods near my brother’s office. It’s made with “delicious healthy ingredients covered with just enough chocolate.” These yummy treats are all natural, gluten free, non-GMO and use fair trade chocolate. I love that the whole 2 oz. bag has less than 300 calories. It is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth! I am a big fan. Stay tuned for a giveaway. You can get Undercover Quinoa online, on Amazon and at these stores.

Have you found any new snacks that I need to check out?
