Tried It Tuesday: Good Idea Drinks #Giveaway

My weakness is sugar. When I was invited to meet Good Idea “The Swedish Sugar Buster” at Expo West, I said “yes!” Good Idea is designed to help people with normal blood sugar to better handle the blood sugar spike after a carb rich meal.

Good Idea was developed by experts in food and nutrition at Lund University in Sweden. They found that a mix of amino acids and the mineral Chromium could positively impact the blood sugar spike following a meal. They did clinical trials and found that this mix dissolved in water before, or with, a meal rich in carbs reduced blood sugar. Here’s a link to the “science behind Good Idea.”

Why is this important? They say, “well-regulated blood sugar levels, without sugar spikes and crashes, help you feel more energized and may help control appetite & aid weight loss.” That sounds good to me!

To create Good Idea, they mixed the combo with sparkling water. Good Idea Sparkling water comes in two flavors – Orange Mango and Lemon Lime. It contains no sugar or sweeteners. It’s vegan, gluten free and all natural.

They sent me a four pack of each flavor to try. As I expected, Lemon Lime was my fave. Both flavors are light and refreshing. I didn’t notice any flavor from the amino acids or Chromium. I drank these with my lunch several days in a row. It may have been some of a placebo effect, but I felt full and energetic all afternoon.

You don’t have to take my word for it. The nice folks at Good Idea will send one lucky reader 4 of each flavor like I received. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The giveaway runs through May 23. A winner will be selected and notified on May 24. The winner must be a US resident, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited.
