Tried It Tuesday: Simple Mills Crackers #Giveaway

mZt1kV4b_400x400I meant to check out Simple Mills at Expo West at Kimberly‘s suggestion, but I missed them. Simple Mills is a Chicago company that makes gluten free baking mixes. Recently, they added almond flour crackers in four flavors to their line up. I tried them at the Good Food Festival and I was hooked. I wrote to them and they sent me one of each flavor to try. Great news! They offered one lucky reader a sampler of all four flavors, too!

At Simple Mills, they believe that “when you eat better, you not only feel better, but you also have more energy to pursue a passion-filled life.” That’s why they are “devoted to providing foods that are made with simple, whole food ingredients that taste absolutely amazing.” They use only simple, whole food ingredients with “no artificial anything ever.” Each box says, “You are what you eat. At Simple Mills that means you can be salty or sweet, but you are always good!” Love it!

The crackers are made with a blend of almond flour, sunflower and flax seeds and just a few other whole food ingredients. They are certified gluten free and are non-GMO. They are also Paleo-friendly, grain free and soy free. They contain eight simple ingredients. The best thing is that you will recognize all of them! You can learn more about each ingredient and why they chose it HERE.

Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers come in four flavors: Sea Salt, Rosemary and Sea Salt, Cheddar Cheese and Sundried Tomato and Basil.  As you can see, they are pretty small. You can’t see, but I will tell you, they’re also super crunchy and are pretty addictive. Luckily, there are 17 crackers per serving and they have some protein from the almonds and seeds. These are some of the best gluten free crackers I’ve tasted. They are so much like “regular” crackers that I handed the Cheddar Cheese box to The Husband with no caveats and he devoured them. He said they were “just like Cheez-its.” That’s a true compliment from The Husband.

I like all of the flavors but like the Sea Salt and Rosemary Sea Salt the best. I guess I am a cracker purist after all! I mostly ate the crackers plain but they would be nice with cheese, meat or dips. You can enjoy them however you like your crackers!

The folks at Simple Mills have offered to send one lucky winner a box of each flavor of crackers. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The winner must be a US resident, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited. The giveaway ends June 30th. A winner will be selected and notified on July 1st.
