Tried It Tuesday: Chocmeister #Giveaway

If you’ve been around here a while, you know that I am a member of Finds’ Fave Peanut Butter & Co’s Yum Squad ambassador group. They gave us another “tough” assignment. What was it? Test out their new Chocmeister Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and give some away to a lucky reader. Pretty tough, huh? Not so much.

Screen Shot 2016-06-13 at 6.01.07 PMChocmeister is a delicious “chocolatey hazelnut” spread. It’s made with 25% less sugar and 50% more protein than the leading brand of chocolate hazelnut spread. It comes in dark and milk chocolate varieties and both have simple, easy to identify ingredients.

The Yum Squad assignment was to make dessert or breakfast with Chocmeister. Since I typically eat chocolate spreads on a spoon, I decided to enlist help. Finds’ friend Stacy stepped up to the plate. I handed over my milk chocolate Chocmeister and she came up with a tasty, easy Chocolate Hazelnut Dessert Ravioli. I would even call this a fancy dessert “hack” because it looks like she slaved over it but it was quick and easy.

Here’s Stacy:

For some reason, I’ve been in an Italian state of mind. When Erica first asked me about making something with Chocmeister, the first thing that came to mind was a dessert ravioli.  I took the minimalist route of using wonton wrappers for the ravioli shell, which was perfect for making on-demand, small batch deliciousness.

Two steps! This is my kind of recipe!

And it’s really easy! Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Take a wonton wrapper, place a large dollop of Chocmeister in the center of each wrapper, fold over to make the ravioli shape and press the edges together. [Tip: Use a fork or ravioli cutter to make pretty edges.]  Then, place the raviolis on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray, or brush with melted butter. Bake at 375 for a few minutes until just golden.

Voila! How amazing does this look. They'll think you slaved all day.

If you’d like, dust with powdered sugar and served with a homemade whipped cream and strawberries.

Of course, Chocmeister by spoon is a perfectly acceptable and equally delicious dessert option!” Stacy saved me some. I can’t wait to try it via spoon or mixed in with some overnight oats. YUM!
