Airabella Active makes “high quality women’s fitness clothing at affordable prices.” When founder, Mindee, got in touch with me to see if I would be interested in a review, I said “yes!” I love stylish workout gear, but I hate spending a ton for it. Why? Well, I sweat in it and need a bunch of outfits so that I don’t have to do the wash all the time. And, if you have ever read this blog before, you know I like a deal – not cheap things but the best value.
Airabella Active was created in 2014 when “it became harder and harder to find affordable gym clothes without sacrificing both fashion and quality.” They saw “a need for high quality, fashionable fitness apparel at an affordable price capable of meeting the demands of the modern woman.” They make trendy, well made pieces that keep up with an active lifestyle (and don’t break the bank.)
They make colorful and stylish tank tops, sports bras, bottoms (mostly capris) and headbands. The tops are $22 – $32 , the capris are $38 – $42 and the sports bras are $28. I told Mindee that I normally wear dark solid bottoms, but that I was open on tops. She sent me the Bella Balance tank ($29.99) to test out and some headbands to giveaway. The top fits well, keeps its color and shape in the wash and has a cute criss-cross back. The shelf bra is supportive enough for yoga (but probably not strong enough solo for running for me.) My only “issue” with the top was the cups that were in there were very big/thick. I took them out and replaced them with some smaller/thinner ones from another tank top. I usually take the cups out of tank bra tops but this top needs some light support to be worn without another bra underneath. All in all, I like the color, material, fit, quality and price! I want to check out their capris – the smoke gray or black ones, of course!
The no-slip headbands keep your hair in place during tough, sweaty workouts. They have a gripping silicone underside to help your hair stay in place and they come in a 3 color braided style.
