#NoExcuses Mad Libs Time!

I must say I haven’t thought about Mad Libs in a LONG time. My brothers and I used to love to play Mad Libs and I recall some funny college drinking Mad Libs, too. I was tickled when the ladies from Fit Approach sent this #NoExcuses #sweatpink Mad Libs for the 4 week “No Excuses” challenge that is ongoing. In the spirit of full disclosure, I did not pick and insert random words, like the true Mad Libs… but it was still fun!

Hey 2015, itโ€™s me Erica @ Erica Finds.

This year I would like to run, fun and sit in the sun.

It would also be super duper awesome if I also could break up with candy once and for all this year. Itโ€™s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because I deserve it, damn it.

The thing I am looking forward to most this year is the unknown unknowns and a kick-butt vacation (I hope)

Iโ€™ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is my natural inner alarm that doesnโ€™t let me sleep to help me get up, get out there and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.

Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is not enough time and I have used it to get out of doing anything really hard and strength training on more than a ton of occasions.

I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to walk and take notes at the same time or have “moving” meetings.

Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I’ll still get up and go.

I will stop blaming the The Husband for eating the rest of the anything and everything when everyone knows it was really me.

My over scheduled life is not the reason I make excuses. I will show my crazy life who’s boss this year and get my run on even if it is between conference calls.

I know that any workout even for 10 minutes is better than nothing.

I will reward myself by getting even more awesome new gear and clothes to show off my hard work.

No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner. I canโ€™t wait to rock a Zeal Hoodie from Augusta Active. I canโ€™t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and zesty I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes. I can see myself rocking down dogย  in new Double Chummie Tank from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it. And of course, Iโ€™ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my core with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next marathon with Sasquatch Racing.

Oh, and letโ€™s not forget how amazing my fave sports bras and Tsย  will smell in during my runs after washing with some WIN Detergent. And lastly, Iโ€™ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!

Want to play along? Go for it! Just fill in your own blanks. (How about you Susie, Carlee and Smitha? #NoExcusesforPhoenix2015?)

#NoExcuses Challenge

In case you missed it last Friday, I joined the 4 week #NoExcuses Challenge! Sweat Pink had so much fun holiday sweating it up with us during the holiday season. They say, “now that weโ€™re all back to work and daily routines, we realize we need more encouragement, motivation and support than ever before to arm ourselves to have the best year yet.” I agree!

For only $5, hereโ€™s what you can expect:

  • Each Sunday theyโ€™ll send you an email with weekly prompts (workouts, healthy snack ideas and more)
  • They ask that you share your answer or interpretation of those prompts daily via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, your blog, etc using #NoExcuses #SweatPink for a chance to win fun weekly prizes from brands like Augusta Active, ShowerPill, Beaming with Health and more.
  • Each day, they’ll share, too.
  • Every Friday, theyโ€™ll send around an email with winners, prizes and our favorite Tweets, IG posts and blog posts from the week.

I am in and have done well so far! The holiday challenges helped to keep me accountable. I need to be accountable or else… it can get ugly! So join me. You missed a few days, but it will be easy to catch up, I promise! If you do, please tell them Erica A. from Erica Finds sent you. I am a Sweat Pink Ambassador, so I get a prize if I refer the most people. And, you know I love prizes! Maybe I can share it with you?
