I checked out (and tasted a LOT of) KRAVE Jerky at the NYC Marathon expo. And then I bought a bunch at show prices and shared with my friends and the husband. We all loved the stuff, so I sent them an email and asked if they’d be interested in a review and giveaway here. They said YES! Yay! This was by far the husband’s favorite taste testing so far for Erica Finds. He can take or leave energy bars, peanut butter and chocolate, but he is a true carnivore!
KRAVE Jerky is “the healthier anytime snack.” It is a naturally high protein, low calorie snack. KRAVE Jerky contains lean domestic meats and all-natural, gourmet ingredients. They use no nitrates and no artificial flavors. All flavors are under 90 calories per serving. They also minimize salt and are 97% fat free. And, all flavors are gluten free! How do they get so much taste without the extra calories and preservatives? After bathing in their marinades for 48 hours, they bake it. This creates “a moist & tender jerky experience unlike any other.”

We had so much fun trying all of these! One of the best things about KRAVE Jerky for me is that it is not tough. All of the favors are very tender. The husband LOVES the beef flavors especially the Garlic Chili Pepper. For most of them he saved me at least one piece. That one, he told me that I’d “have to take his word for it!” The only beef flavor he did not try was the Pineapple Orange which I tested. I like the flavor but it seemed a bit drier to me than some of the other flavors. I LOVE the pork flavors especially the Black Cherry. The husband was less of a fan of these. I think it is a texture thing. More for me! I am also a big fan of the turkey flavors especially the Basil Citrus. The husband was not at all a fan of that one. Again – more for me! We are planning to have KRAVE on hand from now on.
