Summer’s Coming! Ultimate Direction #Giveaway

5PiUb6ZpSummer’s coming! As a runner, that means lighter clothes, earlier starts and more focus on hydration. Through my relationship with Outdoor PR, I got sent some awesome handheld water bottles from Ultimate Direction. I am going to tell you about the new bottles and then give one away to a lucky reader, so read on!

You may not know this, but in 1985 Ultimate Direction invented the entire category of hydration packs. They offered the first waist pack for carrying bottles, then hand held bottles and later hydration vests, jackets and a women’s specific line called the Jenny Collection. Their products are designed “by athletes for athletes,” and the Jenny Collection was designed “by women for women.” And great news, UD bottles have always been and will always be BPA free!

Can you believe the AMP bottle is only 2.5 oz? Perfect!
Can you believe the AMP bottle is only 2.5 oz? Perfect!

I am super excited that Ultimate Direction has partnered with Hydrapak to make the new Amp handheld bottle. They call this the “fastest and lightest handheld ever.” Why? The groove system and collapsible Hydrapak Body Bottle 500 (500 ml bottle) weighs only 2.5 oz and then the bottle conforms to your hand as you drink it. The Groove System has a lightweight, breathable mesh harness and spandex enhanced stretch fabric for strength and comfort. The nylon is coated for waterproofing and strength, too. The “vector strap” is snug and can be used in a variety of ways. It also has a secure key pocket and gel pockets on the side. It’s perfect for the summer long run. This baby is going to be doing a lot of summer miles with me. This bottle retails for $39.95 and can be purchased on the UD website or at Amazon.

Jenny 10 bottle

The Jenny Collection includes a great, ergonomically shaped 10 ounce bottle with a pleated pocket for keys, cards and gels. The Handy 10 is easy to carry and great for long runs when you have water fountains on your route to fill up or for shorter runs. It has a soft and breathable neo mesh strap that is adjustable. They say it is “so comfortable that you forget you are carrying anything.” The Handy 10 retails for $19.95 (but it is on sale for $15.95 right now) and can be purchased on the UD website or at Amazon.

I am going to share the love and giveaway the Handy 10 bottle to one lucky reader. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The winner must be a US resident, 18 years or older and it is void where prohibited. The giveaway runs through May 19th. A winner will be selected and notified on May 20th.
