Friday Finds: More Online Shopping Helpers + Great Deals

If you are looking for CBS The Talk’s Friday Finds, here is the link. I am not affiliated with CBS or The Talk, but I want to give you the info. Please do enjoy this post while you are here!

Today, I am highlighting three tools you can use to become an online shopping pro like me.

A while back I mentioned Honey. If you don’t recall, it is a new browser extension to help you to save money while shopping – automatically. I have noticed recently that I am getting more hits and coupons I can use. They also work if I use ebates. Score for double dipping.

honey twitterWant to save money with online coupon codes without having to search? Sound too good to be true? It’s not if you use Google Chrome or Firefox. Check out Honey. This free browser extension searches many websites for coupon codes and then tells you how much you could save (and takes you to another site where you can save more if you’d like).

There is Honey on the right!

Download Honey and a small Honey “button” shows in the top right corner of your browser. Click on the Honey button on a supported online store and instantly see all the coupons and sales available for that store. During check out, honey will pop out coupons that are available. You just click the code and it will be applied. Voila!

I recently bought something at Finish Line and got an extra $10 off.  I have been offered codes on other sites, too. Sometimes on Amazon, they don’t apply but I always look. The sale feature is still being built out for some sites. I have noticed a lot of new ones lately, so definitely check it out and keep an eye on Honey. What do you have to lose?

You can keep up with Honey on Twitter and Facebook.

bb41768f05d6613cd21077b33f74d58fThe Husband sent me a very funny message about shopping a few days ago. The message said, “I’m sure that no good could come of this, but I saw an ad for Coupon Cabin on the bus this morning and thought of you.  They basically combine online coupons with an ebates cash back model.  You click on a coupon and it takes you to the vendor’s site.  You get the deal plus a % of everything you spend.”

Of course I checked it out and guess what? I got $5 for just signing up! And you can, too! (Note: you have to spend $100 with Coupon Cabin within 90 days of signing up to collect. That should not be hard for me ;)) Click here to create a free account.

Coupon Cabin has “coupons to help you save at all the stores you love – and at the stores you didn’t know you could.” For ten years, they’ve been working with our merchant partners and scouring the web to create a true one-stop shop for savings. They have online coupon codes, printable coupons, grocery coupons and free samples. Plus, Coupon Cabin members earn up to 10% cash back for their online purchases at over 1,800 stores.

There are tons of great deals and they say the people have saved over $20M with Coupon Cabin in the last 30 days! I am not ready to break up with ebates, but I am going to check both sites from here on out!

You can keep up with Coupon Cabin on Twitter and Facebook!

Q114lCq3Did you know that Groupon is now in the online coupon game? They also offer coupon codes for tons of your favorite retailers. They currently have 54,441 free coupons at 8,424 stores. Great stores like Walgreens, Nordstrom, and Sports Authority. The cool thing is that they give you the codes and you can click through with ebates or Coupon Cabin to “double dip” (read: get deal + additional cash back if the code is a better deal than the corresponding one on these other sites. Score! You can check out coupons and great daily deals and awesome deals on “Goods” (some of my faves are always on offer!).

Now you have the tools to be a shopping ninja! It’s Friday, so here are some great deals to get you started. Don’t forget to check ebates, Coupon Cabin and Active Junky before you buy! Also check Amex and Paypal for immediate cash back offers when you use their payment method.
