In the intro this month, Heather says:

“February is all about showing appreciation and love for the special people in your life. We wanted to tune the tables and make this February all about love in the most important person in your life: yourself…One of the most important things you can do for yourself is to take care of your body, which means choosing healthy and nutritious products. February’s box includes a variety of delicious products with one goal in mind: feed your body the food it will love.”

And here we go… this is February from Bestowed:

  • Numi Tea – Chocolate Rooibos  BUY THIS TEA. I love all of the Numi “indulgent” teas. This one combines cacao with the rooibos. There are 4 flavors in this Indulgent Tea line. It is like having a special treat with no/few calories. Score! These teas are delicious and are the perfect afternoon pick me up.
  • Hammer Nutrition’s Heed in Mandarin Orange This “high energy” electrolyte drink has low sugar (2g sugar). I am not a big fan of orange, so I have not tried it yet. (Not sure this fits with the February theme for me…)
  • Morning Sunshine Breakfast Cookies Dark Chocolate Flax Stacy likes this brand and has shared these with me. I don’t like to eat sweets first thing in the morning, but I love these with my afternoon coffee or tea. They are pretty dense so I try to eat half. You can tell it is healthy, but it is also very tasty, and has high protein and fiber, low sugar and Omega 3s. These are pretty delicious!
  • I Heart Keenwah Cashew Cranberry Quinoa Cluster Snacks I love Chicago company I Heart Keenwah. I like the sample pack for my travels. My fave has chocolate but I like this one, too. These snacks are nutty, crunchy and satisfying. Try these!
  • Honey Stinger Organic Sour Kids Chews – I will save these for my girl Reese (she is my 4 year old food taster and gets all of my kid products from subscriptions – her mom has a special pace for them). I love Honey Stingers products in general for running and fitness activities.
  • Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars – Blueberry – I love these healthy fig bars and have liked every version I have tried. They are an all natural version of fig newtons (more like a nutrigrain bar). This one has dried blueberries for added Vitamin C and other nutrients.
  • Plum Organics Plum Vida I did not try the Plum Vida yet. Another reviewer said aptly, “they’re the grown up version of Plum’s baby food.” It is a low calorie way to grab some fruits and veggies. I will try it! These are sold exclusively at Target.
  • Natralia Dry Skin Lotion: Natralia is clinically proven to increase skin hydration by 50% in 14 days. I have not tried the sample yet but I have a zillion creams for dry skin. It came with a $1 off coupon, too.
  • Simply Organic Steam Gourmet Paprika Chicken – This contains the parchment and seasoning for two dishes. This is a super easy way to make chicken (or any protein) and veggies quickly and in a healthy way. I will try it! Simply Organic has a slew of spices and mixes and the Steam Gourmet line comes in four flavors.

I liked the variety in this month’s box and the fact that it had a few products I already love. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed in January because the box had fewer products and a $15 gift card for a juice cleanse. February was a big improvement! All in all, Bestowed does a good job of mixing new products with new flavors of existing products and old favorites.
