Meet Sweaty Betty!

Sweaty Betty

When I think high end yoga apparel, that Canadian company comes to mind – you know the one with the sheer yoga pants? But, did you know the Brits were at it, too? Meet Sweaty Betty. They are not a new kid in town. They started in England in 1998 and came to the US in 2012. Their purpose is “to inspire women to find empowerment through fitness.”

I dig their core beliefs:

Sweaty Betty makes apparel for yoga, running, workout, swim, spa and tennis. They have awesome guides for “what to wear” for each sport on their site, too. They also offer guides for bra fit, running shoes and lots of other “knowledge” and resources for active women.

What I ordered!
What I ordered!

I was asked to check out Sweaty Betty, so I decided to order some sale items. Like their Canadian counterparts, these clothes are not inexpensive! I ordered the Athlete Workout Tank in Spectral Purple Stripe and the Play Hard Tankini Top in Multi Stripe with the Side Tie Bikini Bottom.

The cute, reusable packaging!

The items arrived quickly and come in a cute Sweaty Betty string bag and with an awesome tote bag. Mine said, “The cure for everything is salt water – sweat, tears or the sea.” – Isak Dinesen. The clothes are super well made and fit well, too. The tank is a medium and has a nice slim fit without being too tight.

Love my tank! A perfect fit!

The tank is a perfect, light weight sweat wicking material. It is nice and long. It did not ride up at all while I was running. I could also see wearing it for a hike or casual wear on a hot day with black capris. The bathing suit fits great, too, and will stay in style for a long time.

Sweaty Betty now has two US locations in New York City (Soho) and Greenwich, CT. I will be checking those out next time I head to NYC! In the mean time, I will keep up with Sweaty Betty on Facebook and Twitter.

Please note: I purchased these items myself. Sweaty Betty compensated me to write this post. All opinions are my own.
