A New Finds’ Fave: LifeIce Review and Giveaway

Are you looking for ways to make small healthy changes in your diet this year? Meet new Finds’ Fave: LifeIce. I received a sample pack of LifeIce in my Bestowed box a few months ago. I threw them in the freezer and put them in my seltzer on a warm day. They added a terrific flavor! I wrote to the company and they sent me a sampler of the four flavors to try and offered a giveaway!

What is LifeIce? It is the first all natural, freeze & eat, bite-sized ices. Inspired by the therapeutic qualities of ice chips, LifeIce blends together its power base of coconut water and agave, with exciting complex combinations of Superfoods and everyday health boosters. These are more than just flavored ice – they are like mini-popsicles. There are four flavors: Berry Bite, Citrus Chomp, Chocolate Crisp and Green Grind.

As I said, I used my first set in my seltzer. When I received the samples, I ate some plain and some I used as ice to flavor my seltzer. I liked all of the flavors:

  • The Chocolate Crisp tasted like mini fudgicles – those I ate as a snack. They were perfect and hit the spot and the whole tray of 24 cubettes is only 30 calories! These all natural snacks would be great for kids and likely a lot less messy than regular popsicles with little ones, too!
  • The Green Grind has kale and spinach but also fruit and agave. These would be perfect for kids who do not eat greens. I liked them in my seltzer, they were very refreshing and not too sweet. Also all 24 cubettes is only 20 calories!
  • The Berry Bite and Citrus Chomp are fruity and have “superfruit” ingredients to make them even healthier. I loved these as snacks and in my seltzer.

LifeIce was founded after Paulette Fox made similar healthy ice chips for her mom who was fighting Ovarian Cancer. The company is committed to battling Ovarian Cancer and is an Oncology Nutrition Sponsor for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Oncology Practice Group.

I like LifeIce‘s mission, focus on health and, of course, the taste! This is a great product.
