Proud to Run – A part of Chicago’s Gay and Lesbian Pride Week activities since 1982, Proud To Run (PTR) is an annual charity event focused on celebrating pride in a healthy way and raising funds to support the greater Chicago area LGBTQI&A community by hosting a 10K run & 5K run/walk.
TPAN is a beneficiary of the 2013 Proud to Run and will receive between $3,000 to $5,000 in unrestricted funds from PTR. But, they need volunteers to help out! The 32nd Annual PTR event will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles and start times on June 29th from 6:15 AM through 11:30 (some start as late as 10:00 AM or end by 9:00 AM) CLICK HERE to sign up! Join me for this one!
