Serenity Now, Other Soothing Thoughts & a Little Retail Therapy!

I had a very hectic day at work yesterday…and my blog was down… and I was kicked off of Facebook (temporarily) for being reported as “not a real person or not who I claimed to be.” Sheesh! Serenity Now! Good thing that I clicked on the link to start my 21 Day (free) Meditation Challenge from Deepak Chopra and Oprah before I left for work. It was staring at me as I sat frazzled and trying to figure out what to write for this post.

So what was it like? Week 1 and Day 1 are the “preparation for ‘perfect health’.” Oprah provided a quick intro and Deepak explained the meditation and focus.

Day One’s Centering Thought: “I commit to living perfect health.”
Our Sanskrit mantra: “Om Bhavam Namah” which means. “I am absolute existence. I am a field of all possibilities.”

I truly enjoyed the visualization, relaxation exercise and listening to the soothing sound and words of Deepak Chopra. It is not too late to sign up; Day 1 is only 16 minutes long, so you don’t have too much catching up to do!

I highly recommend you check this out. It’s free, so what do you have to lose??Screen Shot 2013-01-16 at 8.28.49 PMWhile I was visiting the Chopra Center site to get the information to share, I noticed some great resources.

> There is a free online library of resources including: guided meditation podcasts, tips, teleseminars, recipes and much more.
> They also offer “Daily Inspirations“. Monday’s inspiration was: The Law of Giving and Receiving.
