Healthy Initiative & KLUTCHclub, Sweaty Saturday & Other Fun Stuff

In Chicago? Know someone (who is a resident of the city of Chicago) who could use a boost to their health and fitness levels but who may not have the resources to do it themselves? Check out Healthy Initiative Chicago and an extra incentive from the folks at KLUTCHclub.

KLUTCHclub is partnering with Healthy Initiative Chicago for their 90-Day Personal Challenge. Healthy Initiative Chicago, presented by SheaNetics®, will be selecting 40 Chicagoans to compete in the Personal Challenge (for FREE!) that are committed to shedding pounds and embracing a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. KLUTCHclub will sponsor participants and help them to meet their goals!

Selected Participants will receive (FREE!): Snacks, drinks, supplements, gear and extra coaching provided by KLUTCHclub, a 1 year membership at XSport Fitness, fitness and nutritional assessments, books and a 90 day plan, SheaNetics, group training and other exercise classes, home gym package by Spri, seminars, weekly motivational conference calls, tickets to Red Carpet Celebration Gala and a new outfit by designer Mark Roscoe.

The challenge will launch October 6th (but applications will be accepted and people will be screened through October), so tell your friends or APPLY NOW for a chance to participate! [if selected, please notify KLUTCHclub at info@klutchclub.com with the subject line ‘Healthy Initiatives Personal Challenge’] It could be the kick start someone needs to make a healthy lifestyle a reality!

Not in Chicago (or not in need of a full lifestyle makeover?) Check out KLUTCHclub health and wellness boxes (for men and women) delivering new health, wellness and fitness products each month for $18 or less. (I of course got a deal on this from Gilt City and have been loving it! Every month feels like my birthday or Hannukah!)

In NYC? How about checking out Sweaty Saturday this Saturday, October 13th? It is the first day NYC is devoting entirely to fitness, health and wellness. On October 13, Sweaty Saturday brings together New York City’s best fitness studios, health brands and wellness experts. Studios will offer special classes, great music and plenty of nutritional advice, goodies, raffles and giveaways. And, to make this even more awesome a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to HealthCorps, whose national wellness movement helps fight child obesity and bring awareness to schools nationwide.

Also, if you are in Chicago, don’t forget that this weekend is Open House Chicago. No sweating (or money!) required. The Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Open House Chicago is a free public event that offers behind-the-scenes access to over 150 buildings across Chicago. No reservations are required and everyone is welcome. Explore the hidden gems and architectural treasures of Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods—all for free. “150 cool places | 48 hours | Go.” Check it out – you won’t be sorry!
