I was influenced on Instagram to try Solid Electrolyte and Pre-Workout Mints. You know I love my SaltStick Fast Chews but I was curious about these mints for on the go/travel. They’re less concentrated and I thought they’d be great to carry in my purse and travel kit. I haven’t found a pre-workout routine that has stuck, so I decided to check out those, too.

They come in handy 4 mint pouches which is the daily dose. They recommend starting with 1 – 2 to ensure tolerance. I had no issues with them. The pre-workout has 150 mg of caffeine in 4 so, I have been doing 2 at a time, because I don’t want the extra caffeine. (Who am I? LOL.)
Solid is the first Pre-Workout that dissolves in your mouth. They say that it provides 3-10 times the amount of absorption of other forms of pre-workout. Plus, there’s no more inconvenience of messy powders, chugging shaker bottles, unneeded bathroom breaks and other unwanted GI issues. It’s quickly absorbed in the blood stream and doesn’t cause GI distress.
Solid Electrolytes have potassium and sodium. As I mentioned, it has lower concentrations that SaltStick Fast Chews, so I’m using it for less humid weather or days when I don’t do vigorous exercise.
