The team from Kinfield reached out to me in 2023 to see if I wanted to check out their active skin care line. The anti-chafe balm, sunscreen and lip balm were some of my fave new finds of 2023. I always try their new products. I recently grabbed the Golden Hour Mosquito Repellent Wipes to try and some to share.
Nichole Powell started Kinfield with “the hope of inspiring happier, healthier lives through the great outdoors.” It began with a camping trip to Yosemite, when she realized that she was packing many of the same products used as a kid. They say “efficacy is everything, and safety is non-negotiable.” All Kinfield products are made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances and the formulas are proudly vegan, cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified. Kinfield makes bug repellents and bite remedies, sun, sport and recovery products. Golden Hour is a natural bug repellent that smells good and really works! It repels mosquitos with a unique strain of Indonesian citronella that’s more effective than any other they’ve found.
They just launched the Golden Hour wipes. You can slip these into your backpack, carry-on or pocket for use on the go. The scent is citrus and a bit of vanilla. The wipes are made from biodegradable fibers, so you can compost it (or place it in the trash if no compost is available). I love the wipes for travel and have been carrying one in my purse because mosquitos love me. Each wipe is good for a full application and lasts for 2 – 4 hours.
