It’s the first weekend of the month, so I‘m linking up with Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date. It’s hard for me to believe that it’s already August. I for one am excited for fall (as always) but am trying to enjoy summer while it’s still here.
What is the Ultimate Coffee Date? Imagine we are having coffee together… this post is what I would tell you. So grab a cup, “listen” and then tell me what is going on with you in the comments, please!

If we were having coffee… I’d talk your ear off about the wonderful yoga retreat I attended in Bend, OR last week. My friend, Maggie Umberger is an amazing yoga and strength training instructor. She moved to Bend a few years ago and has an amazing community of women and wellness practitioners. The 5 day retreat had yoga, meditation, hiking, tubing, canoeing under the stars, running (optional) and chef prepared meals. The best part? Amazing women and tons of laughter and time in nature. 5 stars! Check out my reel here.

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I LOVED Bend! I spent an extra day there and enjoyed running and walking on the Deshutes River Trail, eating, shopping and enjoying the beautiful weather. I can’t wait to go back! Have you been to Bend?

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I used Outfit Travel to find The Mill Inn for my extra night in Bend. Outfit Travel captures your preferences, favorite hotels and things to do and recommends options that best match what your wants and needs. My travel biography has my preferences like jogging trails, lively area, great food, public transportation and pop culture. You can join Outfit Travel at no cost and you get a $50 credit for signing up to use on your first reservation with this link. [Check out my reel about our Boulder stay here.]
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you I just finished two books I really liked – The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray and Everyone is Lying to You by Jo Piazza. The former is about Belle de Costa Greene who was the personal librarian for JP Morgan in the early 1900s and the latter is about tradwife influencer culture. Very different but both got me thinking and talking! What are you reading?

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I’m trying out adaptogen coffee and tea from Rasa. Rasa’s variety pack has four flavors – Matcha Cloud, Cacao Noir, Radiant Roast Coffee and Classic Herbal Roast (a chicory blend). I love the instant stick packs for travel. The brews have five adaptogen and mushroom extracts chosen for potency and balance. They provide all-day energy without a 2pm crash or tossing and turning at night. Want to try it? Get 15% off Rasa with code ERICAFINDS.
If we were having coffee… I’d ask “what’s happening by you?” Please tell me in the comments!
I’m linking up with Darlene, Michelle, Jenn and Zenaida, for Fit Five Friday. Join us!
PS. Please don’t forget my great giveaways.
