I love my summer Saturday morning ritual of run, coffee, farmers market. A few summers ago, I tried three Nanobags that I ordered in a Kickstarter. Nanobags are a ultra-lightweight, reusable shopping bags that can be stowed anywhere. I can even fit them in the key pocket of my running shorts! I stow one in my pocket, so I can carry home all of my farmers market goodies. They just released a new Daypack with a zipper.
The founder of Nanobag wanted to stop using plastic but found traditional reusable bags were too bulky. He partnered with another designer to make something that was easy to carry everywhere and of high quality to stand the test of time. Also, to make sure that the Nanobag contributes to helping the planet, they committed to plant one tree for every bag sold. This makes the Nanobag not only carbon neutral, but carbon positive.
Nanobags are made from ultra fine nylon threads woven into a custom made diamond ripstop fabric. These super thin bags tuck into tiny pouches with a drawstring top. Each Nanobag can carry up to 66 lbs! They’re washable and dry quickly. The bags now come in six sizes: Standard, XL, Sling, Pack, Micro and Daypack. All of the bags are available in black, blue, gray, red and eight fun patterns.
The Nanobag Daypack is the perfect bag to stow in your suitcase or purse for any adventure. With 16 liters of space, it easily holds your daily gear and more and it only weighs 1.15 oz. It has a zipper and wider straps than the “pack” version. It’s designed for comfort and everyday use.
I always have these bags in my purse. They fit a ton and they hold up really well! I lug 5 lb bags of epsom salts and other heavy groceries and never have any issues!
