I met the team from Top Fox Snacks at Sweets & Snacks. They started with a line of pop-roasted pumpkin seeds in a variety of flavors and have recently added five varieties of sunflower seeds to the mix. They sent me all of the flavors to try and to share.
Top Fox founder and owner Jeremy Zobrist is a fourth-generation farmer. When his wife Sarah was battling Crohn’s disease, they decided to make significant changes to their diet. This journey led them to look for healthier snacking options for their family. As pumpkin growers, they knew pumpkin seeds offered high protein, clean snacking. They created a delicious and healthy snack from the bounty of their own farm.
Once harvested, Top Fox seeds are “pop roasted.” The result is a nutty, super crunchy taste. Each serving of pumpkin seeds contains 8g of organic protein and each serving of sunflower seeds contains 5 grams. The pop-roasted seeds have no shell and a great crunch. They’re all USDA organic and made in the USA. All flavors are top 9 allergen-free, vegan friendly, high in fiber and are naturally nutrient rich.
The pumpkin seeds come in 4 flavors. They are Himalayan Pink Salt, Chili Lime, Salt & Vinegar and Nashville Hot Honey. We like them all but Nashville Hot Honey was our favorite. It has a nice kick and makes a great snack. These are also great on salads or soups for a nice crunch.
The new sunflower snacking seeds come in 5 varieties. They are Himalayan Pink Salt, Honey Cinnamon, Dill Pickle, Classic Ranch and Dark Cacao with Sea Salt. The Honey Cinnamon were an early fave and the Dark Cacao is super rich and yummy (a healthy chocolate fix!). We like the savory flavors, too. The Honey Cinnamon and Dark Cacao are great on yogurt, in trail mix or oatmeal, too.
