You may remember my friends from Kuli Kuli Foods. I checked out Kuli Kuli’s Moringa Superfood Bars a few years back. At the time, I had never heard of moringa – a superfood ingredient. [Here’s the post with the history of Kuli Kuli.] Since then, I’ve helped them spread the word on their full line of moringa products. Now, they’re launching two new superfood gummies and two new superfood powders without moringa. I reviewed the gummies, so now I’m going to review the superfood powders.
Since my original review, Kuli Kuli has come out with energy shots, teas, protein shakes and more. I got in early on their SuperGummies. These gummies taste like candy but but deliver powerful doses of superfoods including moringa, chaga and turmeric. I’m also a fan of the superfood blends.
Kuli Kuli recently added two new superfood blends to their line. These powerful powders are functional and flavorful. You can boost your daily smoothie by blending with your favorite ingredients. They’re all Certified Organic, plant based, gluten free and contain no artificial sweeteners. The original superfood blends were Mood Magic, Gut Bliss and Green Powder.
The new Superfood Blends come in two flavors:
- Citrus C Defense – a refreshing blend of fruit and botanical superfoods. Each serving provides 100% of your daily Vitamin C with just six “consciously chosen” superfoods that build up your body’s immune defenses. These include acerola cherry, hibiscus, lucuma and baobab.
- Marine Glow – a blend of crafted tropical fruits, sea-sourced vegetables and spices. The superfoods are strengthened by organic marine minerals from sustainably harvested North Atlantic seaweeds. Both of these superfood powders can be used in smoothies or breakfast bowls. I like the Citrus C blended with almond milk and the Marine Glow with hot water. The latter has ginger and blue spirulina. I love warmed ginger drinks. I’ve been feeling a bit run down so I’ve added the Citrus C to my daily routine.
