Grab a Cup for June 24’s Virtual Coffee Date!

It’s the first weekend of the month, so I‘m linking up with Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date. Now that it’s June, my summer is starting to fill up and I’m planning for fall. Crazy!

What is the Ultimate Coffee Date? Imagine we are having coffee together… this post is what I would tell you. So grab a cup, “listen” and then tell me what is going on with you in the comments, please!

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that this weekend is the Chicago 13.1, the second race in the Chicago Distance Classic that I’m an ambassador for. I’m volunteering at the number pick up today, leading a shake out tomorrow and running on Sunday. It will be a fun and busy weekend. I’m excited! I’d ask if you have any fun events coming up.

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that it’s less than a month until our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. I’m working on my Spanish (Duolingo day 658!) and I’m trying to work on my travel clothes and gear. Fernanda and Carolina have been working on a great itinerary and it will be so fun to travel with friends and The Husband. I’d ask if you have any summer or early fall travel plans.

If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I celebrated Global Running Day on Wednesday with a run tour (AM), Fleet Feet fun run and Nike’s Pegasus 41 launch. Today, I’m celebrating National Donut Day with a free donut from Stan’s. I’d ask if you “celebrate” random “holidays.”

If we were having coffee… I’d admit to a recent guilty pleasure. Facebook has been serving me up best of reels from The Voice and America’s Got Talent (and Meet Cutes from Instagram). Once I start watching them, I can’t stop. I don’t watch either of these shoes but I love the really great and/or touching audition segments. I’d ask if you watch anything like this for a little fun.

Arc’teryx Book Club

If we were having coffee… I’d ask what you’re watching, listening to or reading. We’re watching Killing Eve (and I’m a bit surprised by the acclaim it got.) We just finished season 2. I’m excited to watch the final season of Bridgerton. I read Solo by Jenny Tough for Arc’teryx Book Club. Tough did solo mountain runs on 6 continents. It was interesting discussing this story with women of different ages most of whom were closer in age to the author.

If we were having coffee… I’d ask “what’s happening by you?” Please tell me in the comments!

I’m linking up with DarleneMichelleReneeJenn and Zenaida, for Fit Five Friday. Join us!

PS. Please don’t forget my great giveaways.
