Taste & Bliss has created the first snack bar with no added sugar that is sweetened with NouveauSweet. It’s an allulose based sweetener that was developed to be a 1:1 equivalent to sugar in taste and functionality without the negative effects attributed to sugar consumption. Allulose is a naturally occurring sugar found in figs, raisins, wheat, maple syrup and molasses.
Taste & Bliss’ co-founders have extensive experience in the culinary arts. While spending years in product development for various consumer packaged goods brands, they found a major hole in the healthier food and drink markets. Better for you products didn’t have good textures, were hard to chew and often had funny aftertastes. Their goal – to develop better than “better for you” products that taste great and have no negative attributes.
Taste + Bliss Coconut Cashew Nut Bars taste like candy, but are packed with 8 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. The bars are gluten free, non-GMO and have no artificial ingredients or flavors. They have minimal impact on blood sugar levels, satisfy a sweet tooth and help to curb sugar cravings. These work with many diets and lifestyles.
These bars are very tasty! They remind me of a candy nut bar, but they’re not overly sweet. I like the taste and texture and the fact that there’s no funny aftertaste.
