I met Rosy from Maple Organics at Expo West this year. This mom (and chemist) couldn’t find an eczema treatment that didn’t have harmful ingredients so she made her own based on a family recipe. They now have toxin-free, effective pain relief creams, eczema creams, wound care, a cold and flu rub and more.
Maple Organics’ mission is to “make families healthier through our organic, pure & effective products.” They create “powerful yet gentle” topical remedies and solutions for all skin types and common conditions with certified organic ingredients. They source and produce their products using only sustainable and ethical practices. Good stuff all around!
Maple Organics first product was Lavender Skin Therapy. It’s intended to soothe skin irritation and dry skin including eczema This family recipe includes kokum butter. It delivers a moisture sealing, protective layer without the use of petroleum jelly or synthetic wax. It contains organic rosehip and lavender oils. It’s 100% natural, toxin-free and contains only organic ingredients. Since I sometimes have eczema, this was the most interesting to me.
The family health kit has five great products including the Lavender Skin Therapy. It also includes Joint Therapy, Muscle Therapy, Wound Therapy and Cold and Flu Therapy (or Cold Congestion Junior). They also have luxury skincare products made with natural oils.
I got samples of all of the products at Expo West. I then bought Lavender Skin Therapy, Grapefruit Skin Therapy (for winter dry skin) and Join Therapy. I bought a Kickstart Sample Kit to share with a lucky reader. It has two samples each of the items in the Family Health Kit plus two samples of their Rose Beauty Oil.
I love the Lavender Skin Therapy. It works well on dry skin and eczema. It smells great and is not greasy. The Muscle Therapy samples are perfect for travel – especially for marathons or races!
