I met the folks from Walters Bay at the National Restaurant Show in May. They were sharing their delicious iced teas. I enjoyed Raspberry Hibiscus and Lime Green Tea. They sent me an awesome care package after the show and some to share with a lucky reader.
Walters Bay is committed to providing the highest quality teas. Their Ceylon tea is produced with true origin traceability – from the farm to your cup. They source tea in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, where the ideal climate and soil conditions produce some of the world’s finest tea. They are dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities in where they operate through a range of initiatives designed to promote social and environmental sustainability. The teas are Rainforest Alliance Certified. Read more about the requirements here.
Walters Bay offers a wide variety of iced and hot teas.
The hot teas come in black, green, white and herbal infusions. The black teas are English Breakfast, Earl Gray, Peach Apricot and Chai. The green teas are Ceylon Green, Lemongrass and Mango Passion Fruit. The white teas are Lavender and Rose Blossom. The herbal infusions are Vanilla Rooibos, Raspberry Hibiscus and Chamomile. They come in boxes of 15 enveloped tea bags, canisters of 18 tea bags and loose leaf. I love all kinds of hot teas in winter and Chamomile at night in the summer.
The iced teas come in ten varieties. They are Unflavored Black, Peach, Coconut, Blueberry Pomegranate, Raspberry, Mango, Mango Passion Fruit (Green), Lime Green, Lemon Green and Raspberry Hibiscus. I’ve been making Coconut, Peach and Raspberry Hibiscus on repeat since I received the package. It’s so easy – steep the bags in 2 cups of boiling water for 5 minutes, add 2 cups of cold water and serve over ice. Drink and repeat!
