I met the folks from nfuse at Expo East. They make a deodorant with an innovative magnesium delivery technology to knock out odor and “deliver maximum magnesium performance.” They recently added skin cream, too. They gave me some to try and sent more for me to share.
As an athlete, I’m always trying to make sure I get enough magnesium. Magnesium reduces stress, relaxes muscles (and prevents cramps), protects the heart and improves sleep. Some deodorants use magnesium to prevent odor but this one is the first to enable absorption of this critical nutrient.
Nfuse was developed by sisters Ann and Emily. They took magnesium supplements but like everyone were not always consistent. On a trip to South America they found that people used Milk of Magnesia to prevent odor. They were wondering if they could create a natural deodorant that delivers the nutrient to the body, too. After years of research, development and experimentation, they launched nfuse deodorant – the first and only deodorant to deliver a daily dose of magnesium.
All nfuse products are naturally derived, vegan, cruelty-free and proudly made in the USA. They’re free of aluminum, parabens, GMOs, phthalates, zinc salts and artificial fragrance.
The deodorant comes in four scents. They are lavender, citrus, rosemary + mint and unscented. Each application provides 280 mg of magnesium and all day odor protection. I’ve been testing the lavender. It works very well for odor protection – much better than many other natural brands that I’ve tried. The only downside is that it rolls on wet and I’ve seen white marks on some of my clothes. They come out in the wash or with baby wipes/make up remover towelettes. I’m a big fan.
They recently added magnesium body lotion. It comes in four scents, as well. They are lavender, eucalyptus, citrus and unscented. The magnesium infused lotion with shea butter and cocoa butter absorbs quickly and is not greasy. It soothes, softens and heals dry skin and supports overall skin health. It contains pure 100% USP grade magnesium chloride. Each pump contains 225 mg. I’ve been trying the lavender lotion, too. It makes my legs smooth and doesn’t sting like some magnesium lotions. It is more like a gel texture and absorbs quickly with no mess.
