I got to preview new socks from Hurdle Apparel that launched with a Black Friday sale on November 25. These new socks have a matrixed web of fibers woven in for a better fit, cushioning and blister protection. They also have antimicrobial finishing for less odors (yay!).
Hurdle was founded in 2020 after Matter developed an overuse injury in his left foot. After overcoming his injury, he was determined to find tools to ensure that he could continue his active lifestyle without injuries. Hurdle has it’s own research lab, so they’re able to experiment with new ideas and techniques with innovative partners. A portion of Hurdle’s profits is donated to STEM scholarships in underprivileged communities as a result of their deep commitment to investing in the futures of the nation’s next generation of innovators.
Hurdle socks have an innovative design. They’re engineered with proprietary MicroGravity Matrix ™ embedded between the fibers of their yarn for shock absorption, support and cushioning. Benefits include “an anatomical design offering a custom fit feel,” micro air channels for breathability, blister protection and antimicrobial finishing. They also have a seamless toe for comfort.
Hurdle socks come in ankle (shown), quarter crew and crew socks. They’re available for men’s and women’s shoe sizes and in three colors.
These socks are super comfy for Pilates, running and walking. I liked them even better after washing them. They have a nice snug fit but they’re easy to get on and off. They don’t bunch up and the material feels nice on my feet. I’m a fan! These are great for holiday gifts/stocking stuffers, too!
