I found Honey Mama’s a few years back at Expo West. I’m a huge fan and enjoy them often. Last year, I reconnected with them at A Sweat Life’s Sweatworking week and Camp Flex & Flow. They recently sent me a care package and free bar coupons for their launch at Target stores nationwide. I’m going to share some free product coupons with two lucky readers!
Honey Mama’s are made in Portland, Oregon “while dancing to great music.” Christy Goldsby started Honey Mama’s believing that nourishing comfort food treats can improve well being. They bars are a healthy indulgence meant to offer comfort and joy. And they do!
Honey Mama’s are honey-cocoa bars made from five nutrient-rich ingredients. They are raw honey, virgin coconut oil, cocoa powder, Himalayan pink salt and either sprouted almonds or shredded coconut. That’s it! There are two new Blonde Truffle Bars that are made with cashews and walnuts, dried fruit, honey, coconut and spices. All of the bars are naturally free from refined sugar, soy, eggs, dairy, gluten and grains and contain no preservatives. Honey Mama’s uses only the highest quality direct-trade, non-GMO and organic ingredients.
My friends at Honey Mama’s sent me a yummy package. It had a four bars with the three flavors available at Target and a bunch of free bar coupons! Since the bars need to be refrigerated, I’m eating and sharing those locally. I’m going to share some free bar coupons.
Honey Mama’s Multi-Serve Bars come in twelve yummy flavors. They are Peruvian Raw, Coconut, Tahini Tangerine, Coffee Nib Crunch, Lavender Rose, Oregon Mint, Ginger Cardamom, Carrot Cake, Birthday Cake, Chocolate Cake, Spicy Dark and Salted Almond. They come in 2.5 oz bars and five flavors (including the Original Dutch) come in 1.25 oz bars.
The bars are very rich and satisfying like chocolate truffles. My favorites are the Spicy Dark, Oregon Mint, Ginger Cardamom and Tahini Tangerine. Of the flavors available at Target, Carrot Cake is my top pick! It tastes like a rich, decadent carrot cake. The recipe is perfect. The Husband could not believe that it was a “better for you” treat.
