I found Resilience Turmeric Elixir in the Good Food Brands minority-owned brands box this winter. As a big turmeric fan, I was curious about this easy to make drink with turmeric, ginger, lemon peel, lemon, pepper and maple sugar. It’s versatile and delicious. I’m a big fan!
Bija Bhar’s founder, Angali, says, “Growing up surrounded by Indian culture, I believed turmeric was magical.” Her “reverence for turmeric” started in childhood watching her mother “use this magical golden powder in almost everything.” As an adult, she returned to the turmeric root for support during her own health challenges. She worked to develop a recipe that “tasted as good as it made [her] feel.”
Resilience Turmeric Elixir is made with Hawaiian turmeric that is never boiled. It’s dried in slices then ground fresh at low temperatures for the best taste, potency and freshness. The elixir contains only organic ingredients.
Why try this turmeric elixir? It’s antioxidant rich and an anti-inflammatory. The ginger boosts the absorption of the turmeric, black pepper and lemon peel. It can aid in digestion and muscle recovery, boost the immune system, help you get better sleep and more!
Resilience Turmeric Elixir comes in two varieties. There’s an unsweetened version and one that’s “subtly” sweetened with maple sugar. I prefer the latter. The elixir comes in single serve packs, 15 servings (shown) and larger sizes. They also offer Pure Turmeric and Chai Masala.
There are a ton of easy ways to use the elixir. You can add it to hot or cold water, tea, nut milk, lattes, smoothies, cocktails and more. Check out some great recipes here. I made an iced golden milk latte with oat milk and Resilience. I also love it hot with a splash of non-dairy milk in the morning or on colder days instead of tea.
I recently stocked up in a sale to support this small business I believe in. I’ll send one lucky reader a 15 serving canister of the subtly sweetened or the unsweetened. Winner chooses. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The giveaway runs through 8/11. A winner will be selected and notified on 8/12.
